I cant say which brand is best for quality anymore but I recommend you grease it as best you can. If there are rubber seals pull one and see if it has any in it. Many times theres no way in but iv seen some with very little to no grease. We have done all 4 on my mothers audi a4 . The rears failed in a few years and the next set we pulled the seals and there was no grease.

Dean, I think going to a machine shop getting them press in and out is going to cost me 100 bucks or more

Do you want to do the job yourself? Your wrench can do the pressing with hydraulic or one of those disc bearing removal sets.

Taking the knuckle to a machine shop or better equipped mechanic will cost $100. Yes.

Yep, Id probably charge a 100 if someone brought me the spindles. I honestly would not be afraid of most parts store wheel bearings, I think O reilleys is a supplier for Timken if you have one nearby, I always try to get MOOG, or Timken or or SKF if I am purchasing locally , and I do it all the time . I love press in bearing work ,
They will most likely last as long as you have the van

One of my customers just told me that he bought a complete reman spindle with the bearing already pressed in , I swear it was from Rock Auto, although I have never looked into it ,
It was pretty inexpensive, and he was able to blast them on in a few hours at home with no press , or special tools involved ,
I think they were pretty reasonable , if you take into account that you will not be paying 5 hours shop labor plus 2 bearings

Thanks Fred. Good to know. O Reilly is 3 miles away. My wife is tired of the bearing protesting and I am tired of her protesting.

Been fine - no issues.

Got the truck with 90K miles back in 2005.

Changed these out at just over 200K - so that's pretty good even if they weren't the originals - and if they were - that's really good!

I'm a shopper and always look at Amazon when I research purchases. A little earlier I bought a box of (50) 3/8" x 3" stainless steel tapcons for only $109. That includes shipping with my Prime account. They will be here Saturday. Not bad.....

Agree. That's what I did with my hubs. I have a really good mechanic and that helps.

https://www.amazon.com/MOOG-512281-Wheel-Bearing-Assembly/dp/B000CEZXNI/ref=sr_1_20?dchild=1&keywords=06+sienna+front+timken+hub+assembly&qid=1600915208&replacementKeywords=front+timken+hub+assembly&s=automotive&sr=1-20&vehicle=2006-76-1027------------&vehicleName=2006+Toyota+Sienna

Looks like I am getting the above. The Timkin I found are separate and the bearing still has to be pressed in.

Rock auto has DuraGo for about 15 bucks cheaper but I think Moog has always been pretty good with their quality?

Did you put your vehicle info in to make sure these were the right parts? Dumb question but had to ask anyway.

Also - no ratings (yet) on that part. I don't always buy into ratings but feel better when it shows a lot of them.

I'll let others comment on the Moog brand.

Yes. I think amazon should be accurate with their fitment info?

Yes but on stuff like this doesn't hurt to cross check part number with an auto parts site, if possible. Can't be too careful - is one of my many mottos....

This is the search results I got when I punched in that Moog part number 512281 :

Looks like the right part to me. Decent price too from Amazon. Go for it!

Just saw this, is it ok now to recommend and discuss competitors to our host?

If so, you are in Los Angeles and there is never a reason to buy bearings on Amazon or from Rock Auto. And a Japanese vehicle should only use Japanese parts, whenever possible. Forget Moog, I've used a ton of their chassis parts and they are good quality but never quite right, like ball joints that never have that factory feel.

Call BMA in Glendale on Victory, they will sell you OEM bearings in the box and match any online price, sometimes beat them. They will offer you several alternatives and give you their opinion on which one is best. You will call them in the morning and the parts will be there at 1PM, usually.

I buy a ton of stuff on Amazon but if I was in LA, I only buy bearings and undercar stuff from them. It will be the dealer part in the manufacturer's box w a bunch of Japanese writing on it. And the price will be unbeatable.
