I like that! Cheap and discreet. You could fasten a Kydex holster to the inside of the pouch.

![]() ![]() I found a $12 zip pouch meant for “Molle packs”, whatever that means (I don’t grok the tacticool stuff). Attaches to my shoulder strap, holds a spoon, little flashlight, and the mightiest weapons of them all, a pen. There are two zippered compartments, I suppose reloads or chewing gum could go in the other. Not obviously waterproof, so I guess the spoon is gonna have a hard life and/or get oiled a lot. I should add, this won’t win any quick draw competitions, but it is easy to retrieve the spoon. Pull zipper (and I’ll add a larger pull) and draw. At the same time, it is securely retained and concealed. AIRSSON Universal Tactical Molle... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07VJG3NSY?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share If it doesn’t work, whatever, $12.

I can only carry one “thing”, so I’m not inclined to carry the less effective thing (bear spray). When two guys knock me off my bike on a bike trail and start beating me up (happens when your city lets bike trails become lawless homeless camps and stolen bike chop shops) I’m going to have the most effective thing (spoon). Non-lethal is for non-lethal situations.
