Interesting. I think if I could choose, I'd prefer the jetman setup more.

But I wouldn't turn down a chance at using either.

Beta testing is always a necessary step. I'm not able to imagine a solution to the range issue as fuel capacity would seem to be a big problem, but it sure is cool.

The landing gear is pretty fragile!

I hope the throttles are not set up where he grips hard and they go wide open.

Per the video (I didn't watch the whole thing) the triggers are not like a rheostat, gas pedal or motorcycle throttle. They are on or off. Like I said, I didn't watch the whole thing, but he said that you squeeze the trigger a second time to bump the thrust up a notch. I didn't hear what the process was for throttling down.

You mean like "Hey! Let's see if I can light your cigarette with this thing!?!" Or "you're cold? I can fix that!" Or maybe "Want a Brazilian, I can do that quick."

The possibilities are endless ! How about halfway across the grand canyon and run out of fuel

As I understand the throttle:

One hand sets the thrust level in digital increments (click up / down to increase / decrease thrust level).

The other hand changes the power output setting from idle to the set thrust level (pull trigger to go from idle to the preset thrust level).
