powder coat them and resize

I just find it funny that you complain about prices being high yet it's basic econ. supply & demand

Nope. I know powder coating is the current fad in cast bullet shooting, but it really offers no advantages of any kind. And it is a real PITA to apply and deal with. I've been shooting cast bullets for over 40 years in many different forms of firearms. I shoot them mostly as cast running them into a lubri-sizer only to apply the lube while trying to avoid sizing them. I used SPG lube for everything these days, from black powder cartridge rifle match loads to .44 mag revolver loads to hot 2,000 fps .45-70 loads with great success. No leading in any of them. No need to play with powder coating, plastic coating, or any of that nonsense.

Let that sink in for a minute. If each of them need 200 round to learn how to shoot you are looking at 1 BILLION additional rounds per month needed plus those who were caught off guard by the shortage and are now trying to stock up. The manufacturers are working 24/7 but can't keep up. They can't build facilities now - its too late.
The the true profit takers are the crooks at websites like 'Cheaper than Platinum' and resellers at ammoseek... Gun owners are being screwed by their own.
Yes, WE are the issue. Millions of new gun owners in addition to millions of existing gun owners trying to hoard all they can get. Supply and demand always works...
