Those were great years when for under $20k you could own, build, drive, experience and sell for a profit many interesting cars.
I've had an 85 El Camino and an 86 911 along with many trucks, muscle cars, sports cars, drag cars and road race cars.
To consider myself a car guy but own only 2 cars for 50 years, for a normal car guy that would be like taking an oath of celibacy.
Count me out.

Agree watched them on track when they were featured at the Monterey Historics back around 2010.
Closest I could afford were a couple of Corvettes.

That's actually a really tough question, to pick just 1.
I guess maybe the list below in the order below, but do I get a chance to test drive each one first. How can I be expected to know which one I like the best without ever having driven any of them.

McLaren F1
CGT
Ruf Yellow Bird
'79 930 mild mods
'73 RS
Dauer 962
Porsche 550
Ferrari 250 GT SWB
'60s Ford GT40
Miura

I would say my Lotus is about as perfect as I can hope for. My husband on the other hand would say either a Renault R5 Turbo or Lancia Stratos:

For the record, I have a 90" wheelbase car with over 400hp and under 2300# and have never fallen off the road.

A Bristol Fighter would do me, but failing that I would be happy with a 968 Turbo, and for evening use, a Bristol 411 series IV.

Had it on the road since 1995 so that time might be at hand! Tires are much better than they used to be though.

Thanks!
I just checked their web site.
They are the electric (LSV) ones.
I am getting older, and slower, but I would still (occasionally) like to go faster than 25 mph.

No problem!

I pass by them all the time, never realized they are electric. I've only seen the gas ones on tv. Electric wouldnt cut it for me either.

These are my other two dream"vehicles".

My first thought to answer this question goes straight to Pagani.

It would simply be a question of which one.

For the wagon part, you are nuts!

Also, I wouldn't mind one of these. Good towing and good speed!
