Nice, good luck.
Try moving your equipment around the house, you may be able to get better service in different corners or if you've got a 2 story, upstairs is probably (not definitely) better than downstairs.

IT does have a signal strength indicator and we only have 2 bars after moving it around the house and even outside. The unit has a battery back up.
I will update again after a few days.
