Question Anyone know what this thing is?

One of my scores today. Some kind of padded platform.

I know I can put it to use but I'm curious what the original use was for.

TIA!

It's a little too thin to support someone's weight. Maybe a back support? Or a cover for some kind of chest or storage compartment.

The forklift tracks on the backside worry me some - what was going on in that bedroom?

Part of a door for a padded room? Best to ask over on PARF.

I would put it out on the deck and lie down on it.

It's original purpose; I wouldn't have a clue.
