This car reminds me of my old 1970 Pontiac Lemans I had in High School.

The wheels are off of a Cutlass.

I'd have thought one that old would need leaded fuel?

Leaded fuel not necessary

When I was growing up every farm had a classic seventies lead sled on blocks in the front yard with a $500 sign in the window.

But just as I turned sixteen and got a job they all vanished.

The Monday and Friday cars were very real. But if you got a good one they’d last forever.

I've seen those in t.v. car chase scenes.
It takes 32 seconds to turn a corner, rocks at least five times, and always loses a hubcap.

Oldsmobile Rally wheels, I think. The originals, if they were the sporty upgrade would have looked like this, I think.

AWESOME, Right!?! That one doesn't really have hub caps, but it does have "beauty rings."

If advertised for sale, I'm sure the seller would claim, as they do about 90% of the time, that the restoration is 90% complete and it just needs someone to finish it.

If they shipped it here they could sell it for a fortune.

'Cause all the wannabe ganstas would think it's just like 'merica where you is either a movie star or a gansta. Fark, how cool is that.

That red stuff ain’t primer.
Just because it didn’t go all the way through doesn’t mean it doesn’t have rust.

Hey, 9 mpg now, 12 mpg, maybe, when new, but who cared? Gas was $0.35/gallon for 100 octane Standard (Chevron to you, pilgrim).

Down side is you can't fill it up if you leave it running.

I believe that is a '68. The'69 had a body color strip in the center of the nose.

Sir, you are correct! Mom had a 73 Firebird Esprit and my brother slammed the hood on my hand. I sure was lucky that front end was made of rubber or something.

Flashback to the wife's '67 Poncho our senior year of college. On a downhill it got 12 mpg on a good day. But it was certainly much nicer than my 13 year old '62 Chev 4 door with the rough, faded silver paint and red seat cover.

Lots of room under the hood to work. With the enormity of the hood you were always in the shade.

The Pontiac came to a bad end when it caught fire at a toll booth.
