Joe Bob. Many people find decaf to be just as satisfying as regular coffee...

ROFLMAO!

Singing in the clown costume is really odd.

I kept expecting the "Disturbed" version to go a slightly different route. But it was a good version. I think it's cool when I band like that does something a bit different.

There were some good versions, and some versions that were just OK. I found it weird that there were several versions that said they were a "Disturbed cover." That's probably a better way to drive hits to their channels than saying they were a Simon and Garfunkle cover. But it seems more likely that they just don't realize that it's a S&G song. You'd think they'd know more about the song, but maybe not.

As a connoisseur of fine Sound of Silence covers, this is my favorite. Blows Disturbed out of the water IMHO...

Their version was really good, and I was hoping that the disturbed version would pick up more at the end, but didn't. It was also good, but yes, I think this version may be better.

The chick was pretty hot, and she drove a '68 Camaro, but the direction and finally of the video was pretty out there. I guess that may be in keeping with the band's image or something.

Rolling Stone did a review of the Disturbed version and said what a bunch of crap basically. Neil Simon wrote in and said he really enjoyed it and that the critic had no clue.

Dude has a good range for a metal singer. They have a couple other good covers as well.

I love finding neat covers like this. I also look for good covers of David Bowie's "Heroes". Check this one out from Motorhead. Sorry for the slight hijack, but this is brilliant:

Now I'm watching a rendition of Kermit the frog sing "Sound of Silence" and, no, I'm not posting a link.
