Had a blast years back racing Pierson Tritons. Not my boat...but a friends, and while in high school I'd spend a couple of weeks on his boat during summers - part of a fleet of twenty or so Tritons (28' Sloop w/cabin), and we'd spend the first week racing each other, the second week cruising...with the whole lot rafting together at night - with some great parties and boat hopping! I do miss sailing.

Sailing, which ultimately leads to sailboat racing, has a lot in common with driving on the track.
Microseconds become seconds, seconds become minutes. Trim -> Observe -> Trim Your young one does a good job of keeping his head out of the way of the boom. Which is more than I can say for myself, having cracked it TWICE in the same spot on an 18 mile race last weekend. Maybe that's a third thing they have in common. . . helmets required
