Seems more likely that Dana Pierre missed her return flight to NY than was on a no fly list, but who knows. Seems like one or more of the Frontier Airlines employees was aggravating her as well with their tough talk, not that it justified her behavior. She belongs on a no fly list now.

I can’t help but think that all of this is a result of cheap airfare and flying now becoming like riding on a Greyhound bus with wings.

I disagree. If that was true, wouldn't we have been hearing about bus and train incidents over the years? There seems to be a cultural release in inhibitions to blatant bad behavior in many ways, including gun violence, looting, road rage, etc. I don't know what the root of it is from.

Regarding the incident at the check-in counter, I remember stating in another thread that we suck at conflict resolution.
Then again some seem to draw no connection between action and consequence.

On another note, people with even not too common names share that name with others. Not talking John Smith here or any rather common names. They sometimes get in the crossfire. My wife went to return something at a dept store once, while we were in another state, after rethinking the purchase the next day. They wouldn't at first take it back saying she'd returned too many items.

She says, "What, I've never even been to a store in this chain as we don't have them in CA." She pulls our her DL and all was well.

Jogged a memory there...remember reading once that David Nelson, Rick's older brother, once discovered that he was on a no fly list...this not too long after 9-11-01.

Crazy that people would behave like this. She was out of control and totally didn't care that her little girl was upset. She then is threatening hitting someone with that chrome metal post, yeah, tase her a$$!!! I like the police officer's question, "what's wrong with you"!!! That's the million dollar question, what the hell is wrong with people these days!!!
