I bet it is totaled. Not sure what I'll do if so. I really didn't need the car, hell, she probably put more miles on it than I when hers needed work. (I'm slow with repairs) I DD a 2002 Accord, it doesn't need a backup.

She claimed she fell asleep at the wheel. It was 3:30am, so believable. She is the only witness, I heard nothing, no skid marks on the ground, with the exception of after impact slide of both cars.

Is your '02 Accord a V-6?

You can appeal the low ball, insulting offer they give you on the value of the car. My integra got totalled and they initially said it was worth about 60% of what it actually was worth. I appealed it and they cut another check. Car would not have been totalled if they valued it appropriately. It was repaired, salvage title was washed and it was registered again in a few months.

Is it a 6 speed or something? I almost pulled the trigger on a supercharged 6 speed TSX, still kicking myself a little bit on that one.
My GSR was a sedan, fairly uncommon, immaculate and well maintained. They did not use a single comparable vehicle when I appealed, and they still had to cut a substantial check. They gave me a credit for the $500 worth of tires I put on it a few hundred miles before it was totalled. I think it was $40. It varies by state I suspect, had like 90 days to appeal.

There is not much body damage, but it took a hell of a hit = the wheel, suspension, and frame took the brunt of the impact. I’m thinking totaled. If the fix it I’d unload it ASAP.

If they fix it, most certainly they would want to replace broken/bent pieces with regular TL parts, and that's not going to happen. The TLS is a different animal when it comes to the suspension. It blew out the inner CV too, so the tranny took a whack, steering rack is probably toast too.
I don't think they are going to fix it.

With the state of the car market, maybe you will end up making some $$$ on the car. Then just sit and wait for the market to settle down.

That's what I was thinking. I bought it a year ago before the market turned upside down. If I needed another car right away, I wouldn't be happy at all with the position I would be in. I'm not upset about it because I stand to make a couple grand off it, if it's totaled.
