I just watched the Doug DeMuro review of the Tesla Plaid. My Lord! The fastest production car in the world at 0-60 in 2 seconds! 1/4 mile in the 9’s! 1000 HP. And it is a family car!!! Faster than all other Porsche’s , Lamborghinis, Maserati’s, private supercars and Ferraris! Just amazing. Has 3 electric motors.

Nice thing about DeMuro is you get a big bang for the time investment buck.

40 minutes of YouTube Plaid "quirks and features" and you know it to a good percentage.

That thing is fast.

No doubt it is dang fast drag racer. And a modified version on race slicks set a record at Laguna Secca. We will have to wait a while for a real customer delivered production car to do a lap to see just how fast it really is.

But for the folks that measure their dicks by drag race times it is the car to have. The real test will be a Nürburgring time in true production, as delivered to customers version. A car's 0-60 or 1/4 mile time is just one measure of speed.

It's a chunk of change and that yolk thing is weird.

I'm gonna go sidebar here. It's not worthy of going that fast. It's too farking cheap.

I drove a new S at a Tesla get-to-gether in July, the yoke is not for me. I like the hand over hand wheel turning of a solid wheel. That being said there are already a few people on Reddit doing wheel swaps from 3's to the S and they plan on making kits.

Tesla is amazing but I would miss the feeling the vibration, sound when I twist the key.

that's fast for a Musky car

it really is impressive for what it is. I am not really a drag race kinda guy but every video I have seen people are laughing hysterically after an acceleration run. Its funny people can't even talk when it is floored it seems. It accelerates faster than most cars can decelerate on braking.

Id rather have a sports car but against a luxury sedan, if I could live with 300 mile range I would get one. I would definitely get one over a taycan anyways.

runs a 9 second 1/4 is a bit of an understatement when it is in the low 9s. Crazy fast by any measure.

how are the panel fits?

do the doors open? close?

etc. etc.

Tesla's cars have gotten better over the years, but the fans have had a lot of problems with the objects of their desire
