I'm saddened by the ongoing Laundrie/Petito saga

Saddly I know all to well similar. But, what would posess a girl that doens't like dirt to go out in the dirt for months?

That girl is a coddled little princess that can't deal with the slightest inconvienince or stress. She may be OK with driving through the park but she wants to be in a hotel everynight.

Make no mistake none of my comments should be taken that I think this young girl should be dead for any reason. I have a 21 year old daughter I feel the parents pain. At the same time I am not ready to condemn this young man. There is plenty to indicate this could be a young lady in distress and he an innocent bystander.

I am willing to wait and see.

All valid points, sure. But the reality is he's a very capable guy and she is quite a lightly built female. The odds are stacked against her. I don't think she is a princess who wants a hotel room each night. She's spent quite a bit of time on the road and sleeping in the van. I suspect it was an argument that escalated into a fight, and him being much stronger won the fight killing her in the process. And instead of manning up telling the truth he dumped her body disrespectfully in the wilds somewhere.

He traveled from Wyoming back to Florida alone without calling anyone.

My most recent ex was exactly like Gabby. She came with a rule book an inch thick. The sex was so good that I considered staying just for that but walked away for the sake of my sanity.

No matter how nutty she was, even if she hit the dude he had to walk away. He cannot win that argument.

and apparently not handling living in the van very well. The flys here are pretty intense and the flys were definately getting to her and his feet were dirty. Watch the video in her own words. (19:24) Brian states (first part illegible some thing about two days?) "Nissan Sentra, tiny little car, I said lets do it better and get a big van.

You sure are drawing a lot of conclusions to convict this young man.

I do stand corrected though, he was offered a bottle of water by the police and he declined.

Yes we do. And we have murder and manslaughter. The jury decides on guilty or not guilty and the judge decides on the sentencing. If I was to place bets (and only bets because we haven't heard any evidence or details about what happened) I'd say guilty of manslaughter. If she committed suicide or fell down a bank why did guy drive off and not speak to her family and the police.
