Similar to Craigster’s, the difference is I got paid by the Mouse to audit the classes. Craigster had to take them on his own time.

I had to audit pretty much every course. Craigster could only take the ones for his craft.

Here is an interview my friend Dutch Merrick did with CNN concerning the AB interview. He echos a lot of the sentiments that I have posted in this thread. Maybe this will clear up some of the misconceptions about weapons handling on set....

Pretty good article about the gun that was used. Someone here can comment if the article is accurate......

That is why you hear 3 clicks when the hammer is pulled back.

Interesting career change . Went from movie set armorer to a receptionist at a tattoo shop . Makes perfect sense .

That's ok. I wouldn't want her torquing my lug nuts. :)

$140K fine, and Baldwin claims the NM OSHA exonerates him. Yeah right...

Amazing that the armorer was NOT asked to inspect the pistol before that scene . Totally blown decision by all in charge . A total break in protocol . All probably just to save a buck . Very sad.

Report on the news today, found that Hannah Guitierrez the armorer, had been hungover
from drinking and also had been smoking marijuana during the time period around the
shooting. Surprise,surprise, surprise !

That's just hearsay unless they tested her at the time.

No testing.

Teamsters get drug and alcohol tested since they are drivers. As an art department carny, I asked the business agent from our union if we would ever have testing.

He looked at me kind of funny and said "Are you kidding? If we drug tested we'd lose 70% of our members!"

Since no crime I'm guessing the shooting will make the director's cut or at least blooper scenes

She was going under the bus from the jump

craigster59 06-20-2023 09:39 PM

"Gutierrez-Reed had four spent casings in her gun kit bag that appear to match live rounds found on the New Mexico set, prosecutors said in the filing."

Which means that she had previously fired live rounds and kept the casings. That ain't looking good.

serene911 06-23-2023 08:53 AM

Gutierrez-Reed was just charged with tampering with evidence, that's along with
the existing manslaughter charge.

DonDavis 06-23-2023 06:51 PM

I bet her slot in the death pool just jumped up a few rungs.

Jeff Higgins 06-23-2023 08:56 PM

A now desperate prosecutor throwing anything and everything at the wall to see what sticks. Resorting to the dirtiest of tricks, attempting to try her in the court of public opinion. Meanwhile, the Hollywood Golden Boy, who pointed the gun, cocked it, and pulled the trigger, walks.

Yes, we do indeed have a two tiered justice system. Look at what just happened in Delaware.
