Those look to be barstools made by the Henderson furniture company in Quebec, Canada. I’m fairly sure that the upholstery material is probably original, as I’ve seen that color used on other products they made and they did use vinyl. My advice is simple. If you like the looks of them, keep them and leave them alone. They were misrepresented, obviously they were tagged by someone that knows nothing about furniture materials but that is what that company used on those chairs, so…
