Although I hope I am far from the finish line, it was one of my "bucket list" items. In spite of it's size, it was an enjoyable aircraft to fly and I am happy that I had the opportunity.

Ryan used to post a lot on FB and posted some about his hospitalization and rehab. But that stopped a while ago and, AFAIK, his mom posted on there last time saying he wasn't doing well.

Wow, this thread is sad, yet so many good memories over the years. I usually just lurk, but have been on here for a long time and go way back with some folks, but more from the tech forum. Never forget the poker night in my garage in Ventura before the German Auto Fest, then there were the New Years Day and Big Bear runs.

Nostatic hitting the coyote on his motorcycle still sticks with me....he's lucky he wasn't seriously hurt. (I think he ended up with a broken leg and a lot of road rash)
