What a bummer! I've been seeing it posted all over the Colorado groups testing. They also did some testing out at PMP (Pueblo Motorsports Park). Super fun, technical track down south here in CO.

Also, this was an interesting post that I wanted to share as well:

Quote:
Hoonipigasus that is going up Pikes Peak with Ken Block behind the wheel...and this whole project. Its propeller shaft to the front drive comes off the far end of its rear gearbox and raised to just below the drivers shoulder height then angled downwards towards the final drive, running more than the entire wheelbase
It seems to have a ride height device that is linked to the two rear coilovers and this set up is also on the front suspension

Latest rumor: tuner raised the redline set by engineers who built the engine. Then proceeded to hold it against the rev limiter in neutral to please fans. BAM!!

Based on the people hamming it up in the video, looks like karma reached out to them.

If that was the case, we’ll see a video soon enough.

Isn't it great that with all the choices they had in terms of body parts, they chose the old 65-98 roof and doors? Even the windshield looks to be at the original angle?

That driveshaft seems a pretty strange setup, maybe a rear engine layout wouldn't have been so bad running 4wd.

Here is a great video on the build. The "over-rev" is shrouded in mystery in this video as well. They did all this work and had no spare engine on hand. They will have one next year. Anyone know the cost of this project? It must be very high.

Awful montage and editing. Somebody needs to get fired and look for a job walking people's dogs or something.
Horrible.

Yeah, lots of fastforwarding these days. I assume the editing is being done to appeal to a younger crowd or something.

Something that Youtube has started doing is showing you the parts of a video that are "most watched" which makes it easier to fast forward past the BS. But I think you've got to be watching on youtube for that to work.

The curve above the time bar shows the most watched portions of the video. In some videos, there are spots that clearly have all of the action and other spots that get very little.

Yep. It's not about the power. It's about the fact that it's an AWD Pikes Peak car. I would have liked to see it run.
