I have a notion that those of you who are lucky(??) enough to have this ES perception that the OP discusses probably have a great sense of equilibrium in their lives, and are therefore available to receive and process signals when they arrive; the corollary to that is people that are more inclined to the chaotic never get the message due to the internal clutter. The vast majority of us might feel a warp in the universe and get a nebulous "feeling" but have no means of translation.

The difference between young love and old love is that when you're younger, you put your whole heart and soul into a relationship. That's why the memories of an old flame are so poignant. And why the feeling of lost love hurts so much.

Had a lot of old flame friend requests when I was on face crook. Usually, they are not ex whatever by mistake.

Alright everyone, you are alive. You are connected to the univererse BUT do you ever notice when you try to force it it does not work?
When you let it flow and just happen on its own the universe can and will surprise you. Pay attention to those synchronicities. A collision of events where something other than the probability of chance is involved, and this confluence feels meaningful.

One of the recent UFO pseudo documentaries goes into this and tries to show how interstellar travel is based on ESP. Seems really far fetched but so was the whole round earth and sun center of universe ideas when they came out.

Weirdest thing that ever happened to me: Fell asleep reading an interpretation of Nostradamus quatrains, thinking it was rubbish, prediction of California major earthquake was wrong......Woke up to the news of the San Francisco earthquake (1989)

Mine are more traffic related (OK so I always seem to know what my wife wants for dinner, too, but that could definitely be habit - still we eat pretty varied food)
4 way Stop intersection, taken everyday normally.. it's my turn, I go... A few times in the last 8yrs, an inner voice broadcasts "wait, go slow" for absolutely no reason (it's kinda blind, no visible or audible clues from that one direction). And bam, someone runs through it at full speed, missing the stop completely, that would have broadsided us... Not once, maybe 3-4 times... 100% science believer but some stuff makes you wonder... Also traffic related, many times over the years that inner voice says "don't change lane right now" - and sure enough there's someone there I didn't see, smack in a blind spot... Ok so that one, I believe, is your brain unconsciously scanning moving vehicles in the mirrors in some sort of subprocess and catching on something you consciously did not see... but it's interesting anyway... But the above one with the stop sign, I cannot explain. I can't see thru concrete. Phone thing? I have this thought I need to call a friend [ generally a close friend whom I have not talked to in a long time]. Phone rings a minute later, you guessed it... 1992. Our two kids and my wife at the Cleveland zoo. Debbie, my old flame I hadn't seen in seven years, and her husband walk by 30 feet away pushing a stroller. (I mean, how often does one go to the zoo?)
I just turned away and she did not see me. Too many moving pieces and parts involved to say hey. Debbie lightly chastised me for that on Facebook a few years back but I think I made the right decision. Side note.....Daughter is pushing me to watch the new season of stranger things. Ive watched the other seasons twice.
