I was actually thinking of that post when I saw the car and how he allowed people right up on it. There certainly were people at the show who had the "trauma nurse" attitude, but he wasn't one of them, and his car looked as good as theirs.

Thanks! Many people can't believe my truck is so old. Sometimes I can't either! I believe the V8 motor did help with its longevity...

Not quite as extreme as that 63' Vette owner's story, buy sorta close. My father is the longest owner of a Vette in the NoVA CC. He's had his '66 since '69. Still has his college parking sticker from the '70s on it and his Army base access sticker from when he was in the service.........not sure how many miles though. Over 100k, that I do know.
