Impressive Porsche

Forgive me if this has been posted. I’ve done Hells Revenge in Moab. I was in my lifted Jeep. It was pretty gnarly. Not the hardest trail ever but I definitely wouldn’t do it in a Porsche. This guy had some great driving skills.

Haha, you sure wouldn't want to buy that vehicle second hand from him. Half the underseal ripped off the underside plus half crushed this and that underneath.

That one doesn't seem to have air suspension; which allows the pepper to raise up for much more ground clearance.

The wheel/traction control is impressive.

I saw videos back when the Cayenne first came out where they put them through off-road paces. THe AWD and hill descent mode were impressive. This was pretty impressive considering it was just a set of better tires. Porsche knows how to make things work.

That is what I was most impressed with, the traction control system. It's obvious that the Cayenne version is much more advanced than my Jeep Gladiator. I turn mine off 95% of the time when I'm on trails.

Mind you, compare it with a Toyota at half (1/4?) the price, it would roar full speed up that slope. Sure the Porsche is multi talented with fast highway speeds thrown in, but as a rock climber it's pretty crap.

I’ve watched stock Tacomas have a much more difficult time on Hells Gate than that Porsche.
