87 was $2.99 at Sams today.

Dropped almost 20 cents here in the last week.
Reg is now $3.66/gal

Amazing the massive "drops" here almost daily...yet gas is still at record highs for the time of year. What am I missing? Because automotive fuel prices normally drop some in the fall/winter?

Are your home heating costs dropping too?

Crude oil has been falling for the last several weeks, so fuel prices are coming down. Regular was $2.45 at Costco a few days ago.

I guess since the typical new mortgage payment is up almost 50%, turkey is up 21.7%, stuffing 69.4% and pumpkin pie is up 21.5%...high gas prices should be expected. Maybe the unexpected increase in unemployment claims will help inflation (but obviously not those that are now unemployed).

Happy Thanksgiving!

That is about a dollar less than anywhere I have seen this year (and I regularly drive across country). Regular is $3.30 here. I guess it would be great if we could all buy gas in Houston.

lindbhr 11-23-2022 09:03 AM

The prevailing market in Houston is more like $2.99 and falling.

Sooner or later 11-23-2022 09:03 AM

$2.80 or less at a couple of places here. $2.85 more common.

Just filled the Cayenne up to go to mom's. $4.06 for 93

Sooner or later 11-23-2022 09:11 AM

WTI crude down 4% today to $77.50.

Definitely no massive drops around here.....

.

"U.S. crude oil stocks in the Strategic Petroleum Reserve fell by 1.6 million barrels in the latest week to 390.5 million barrels, the lowest level since March 1984, the Energy Information Administration said Wednesday."

None here either...I meant "here" to be this thread.

JackDidley 11-28-2022 09:03 AM

Sams today 87 was $2.94 and 93 was $3.44. Makes me think about a road trip.:D

stevej37 11-28-2022 09:09 AM

Down another 20 cents here today. :)
$3.46/reg

KFC911 11-28-2022 09:16 AM

Finally below $3 at a few stations here and a bunch are just a few cents higher.

Evans, Marv 11-28-2022 09:17 AM

County average for regular here is down to $5.09 today, but I got it at Costco for $4.77 earlier in the week. You guys in other parts of the country are so lucky, although I only fill up my van once a month or less - usually put around 18 gallons in it..

fintstone 11-28-2022 09:20 AM

I have yet to personally see it below about $3.25...anywhere (driven cross country several times in the past year). It is still around $3.35 here. It needs to drop another dollar.

$3.119 for regular today at Circle K for the Volvo 850 5 speed estate wagon. I love Circle K - this one is fairly new so everything is clean and lot of pumps so plenty of room. But the best part is I'm not asked to punch in my zip code!
