You're just mad that I matched your thread rating. :D

You probably gave me one star just to try and prevent it!

stevej37 07-27-2022 07:37 AM

The one star rater is slipping.
The chip dip thread has no rating at all....he must be a dip fan!

I always have to laugh when Shaun starts a thread. It seems like it's an immediate 1 star. I don't know why people even bother. But I think I'll go give your dip thread 1 star! That'll teach ya!

BAM! One star! Now to start my own chip dip thread.

stevej37 07-27-2022 07:46 AM

I just noticed that myself. But someone recently has been giving me 5 stars instantly which I really find fascinating. People are so interesting!

Remember when $3 was considered high? Wasn’t that long ago.

They’re wearing us down.

What does politics have to do with gas prices dropping and people reporting what price they're seeing? If you see that as political commentary, you might consider that you're the problem... because there's nothing political about what we're discussing.

Tervuren 07-27-2022 09:14 AM

Whether your gas is down or up it still makes a sound.

Can't even buy a taco for 1.39 anymore. That's why all the weed smokers are mad. Takes a lot to get a weed smoker upset!

I suspect it was started to tweak the moderators who PARFed the last one...especially if they were going to continue to post on the thread in PARF. I cannot believe it was not PARFed immediately.

That said, one can avoid outright political statements is they choose their words carefully. Some just do not choose well.

You were born in 1971. You ain't got no noledge about gas prices.

You need to remember walking into a station and asking the owner "Can't you at least kiss me since you are charging me 80 cents a gallon"

Sooner or later 07-27-2022 09:49 AM

Remember when there were gas price wars between stations?

I hear ya. My knowledge base on gas prices doesn't even really start until 1987!

Saw a little bit of that when Murphy first opened in Van Wert. For several months after Murphy opened, Van Wert was the cheapest place to find gas. Normally the East side of Lima off I75 and Beaverdam, also off I75, were the cheapest places to find gas.
