I like all the Daniel Craig Bond movies but this scene is my fav. - "Out of bullets".....:D
I also like Léa Seydoux a LOT!!!!!! <iframe width="853" height="480" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/fnxwANPWnGM" title="Daniel Craig - Christoph Waltz - Spectre Ending Scene | Color Corrected | James Bond - 007" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" allowfullscreen></iframe> |
Christoph Waltz was one of my favorite villains of all the Bond movies. I like this scene from Casino Royale:

^^ Yes.....that's a good one, Steve!
======= Another special memory. My father took my brother and I to see this one when it was first released. My Dad really enjoyed the historical angle - in part from his 20 year Naval career - but he also liked McQueen quite a bit.....as evidenced by taking us to see "The Great Escape" as well! <iframe width="911" height="404" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/xN1nQpuNj7A" title="The Sand Pebbles - Hello, Engine" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" allowfullscreen></iframe> |
^^^ Was that Mako?

If you haven't seen Barry Lyndon, this could be a little bit of a spoiler alert. Beautiful movie.
Great scene, great comments in the comment section. The whole movie, all interiors and exteriors filmed in natural light. The actor who played Lord Bullington gave up his acting career after this film and went to work for Kubrick as his assistant. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/mTzFr8bw-7k" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" allowfullscreen></iframe> |
^^Long movie but worth the watch because of Ryan O'Neil......
This on right now (BBCA)..... <iframe width="853" height="480" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/MDJ7Du14G-4" title="From Russia with Love (1/10) Movie CLIP - A Nasty Briefcase (1963) HD" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" allowfullscreen></iframe> |
^^^ I remember my brother and I getting toy James Bond brief cases like that. No tear gas that I recall.

They just showed the train fight scene where Robert Shaw's character - Red Grant - opens the attache case and the tear gas goes off - thus saving Bond's life. Such a great movie! |
I like the part where Bond is figuring it out and asking him questions and he answers "Um hum."

Renée Zellweger won Best Supporting Actor for her role as Ruby. From 2003......

^ I loved watching Cold Mountain when it came out. I'm really drawn to films like that.

I also like it when smart, articulate people can dissect and explain top-notch drama like this.

I really think Jude Law might be an under-rated actor. Remember his character/acting in "Road to Perdition"? Really good. Getting back to "Cold Mountain" - I really enjoyed how there were so many different characters in it and of course a great story line. Quote:
I don't know who the female narrator was in that clip but she reminded me of the Australian TCM hostess Alicia Malone, less the Aussie accent. :) Watching that clip with her observations reminds one of how much work goes into development of these features. Earlier tonight, I was watching "The Eagle Has Landed" and there's a part where Donald Sutherland's character is riding his moped in the woods and following Jenny Aguter's character as she rides her horse. I couldn't help but think to myself....what kind of creative mind comes up with this stuff? Right in the middle of this war picture they have this scene. Just fascinating......as well as mystifying.... At the 49:17 mark: <iframe width="884" height="429" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/y3driTWgWFk" title="The Eagle Has Landed (1976) Michael Caine | Donald Sutherland | Robert Duvall | Jenny Agutter" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" allowfullscreen></iframe> |

I have it and just started watching the director's cut with commentary by BBT! He starts off right away about the first scene with J.T. Walsh dragging that chair on the floor over to where Carl was sitting by the window. How it was developed. I can't watch anymore tonight obviously have to get sleep but I really look forward to hearing his comments throughout the entire movie. There's some other special features on the 2nd disc as well. Worth looking into if you are at all interested. I think this is one of the movies with many many interesting layers..... |

He also mentions how he likes to frame his shots. How he got his haircut. Lot of interesting trivia and back story stuff..... |

This is a good one from 1962 - kind of a cult classic, I guess. Very good cast!
Here's the trailer..... <iframe width="853" height="480" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/pMLahYSlvQU" title="Hemingway's Adventures of a Young Man (1962) Official Trailer #1 - Richard Beymer Movie HD" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" allowfullscreen></iframe> |
Warning due to language - but my fav. scene from this one. "You wanna get a cup of coffee?"
