^ +1 those are good.

Peeps heated in the microwave for a few seconds (maybe 10?) are good and gooey too!

^^^ I'll try a small bag of those (mini eggs)...my Cad Creme Eggs are gone already.

On that pic of the mini eggs...it says 42 ounces. Almost 3 lbs of sugar?

Love the Cadbury Eggs!

Just returned from the grocery store ..... I saw 'em calling my name ! Dang .... eggs HAVE gone up .... I passed .... figured some might hatch and I'd have baby Cadburys to feed...

Or they'd be gone by tomorrow

^^^ You don't know what you are missing.

If you look around in the store...most sell them singly, but in a little larger size.
Normally around $1.50/each. They are better yet.

Sam's Club seasonal item. They're definitely a few notches above M&M's, something about the coating that I really like.

Ah, I didn't realize the packs were smaller. I guess that makes sense. It's interesting about chocolates that come in various sizes, whether it's Snickers, KitKat, Creme Eggs or the various types of Reeses (cups, eggs, whatever). There's usually one size that's perfect, and the rest of the sizes are not as good because the chocolate coating to filling ratios are wrong. For instance, the tiny Reeses cups that come in a bag and are individually wrapped in foil have too much chocolate compared to the peanut butter. Even the regulars are a little chocolate heavy. I think the Easter eggs that are about the size of a 50ą piece are just about perfect. I don't know that I've had any of the giant sized, but I wouldn't be surprised if they were too peanut butter heavy. The giant Snickers are better than the regular snickers, and the tiny snickers are even worse.

That's not to say that if someone hands me the stuff in the sizes that aren't perfect that it slows me down one bit.

^^^exactly right. I couldn't find the individually wrapped eggs at the store and had to buy the five pack. Good...but not as much as the single ones.

My favorite candy was the Jelly Beans stolen from the top of freshly baked (Grandma's) "Pigna" cake.

Especially the black ones.

My grandmother made her ricotta rice pie every Easter and took the "recipe" which was in her head to the grave .

Luv me some black jelly beans.

Well then you never EVER want to try traditional Dutch licorice. She who was loved that stuff (she was 100% Dutch).

That's a sad genetic thing - it must be hard for you but for the rest of us, yay! Gimme your black beans...

(though I have to admit that the salty dutch stuff is challenging)

Not a big fan of Easter candy, but I like Jelly Beans and mini eggs in the hard chocolate shell.

I think if you put a peep in the microwave, it expands several times its size. I never knew that until a child showed me that a few years ago.

I bought a 9oz bag of Cadbury Milk Chocolate Mini-Eggs this morning.
They are ok, but not nearly as good as the creme filled eggs...imo.

People either love or hate the creme-filled eggs....no in between.

Yep, no black licorice, black jelly beans, or Sambuca. I also usually don't care for foods that have tons of anise.

My mom loves black licorice.

My tastes have changed a lot since I was a kid. I'll eat just about anything. Maybe I should try some black jelly beans again. My guess is that I still won't care for the flavor much, but I probably won't mind it as much as I did as a kid.

Pigna frosting has anisette in it. I love licorice in moderation, and have been known to sweeten my sunday morning coffee with sambucca......

Fortunately my wife learned how to make the Pigna. If she leaves me I'm effed....
