Port of Seattle negotiated "street pricing" (same as everywhere else in town) at Sea-Tac Airport, when I was participating in the $3.7B modernization project there.

My "go-to" fast food burger is the Baconator from Wendy's!!! It's been a few months since I had one.

A Whopper is $3 every Wednesday. I buy often one and bring it home to eat with my own drink or water. Pretty cheap eats. The app always has good deals (the same with McDonalds. On the BK App (under "offers"), I show $7.99 for a double whopper and fries; $7.99 for a Whopper, small fries and small drink; $13.99 for 2 Whoppers, two small fries and a drink; or simply an offer for 25% off everything you order. If you are really hungry, $22 will buy 2 Whoppers, 2 original chicken sandwiches, and 2 8-piece chicken nuggets.
The McDonalds app shows $.29 Quarter Pounder with cheese, Big Mac or 10 pc nuggets when you buy one; $9.99 for 20-pc McNuggets; $2.50 for 10-piece McNuggets; $6 Quarter Pounder with Cheese, medium fries, and medium drink; or 20% off of any purchase of $10 or more. edit...a today only local special just popped up on McDonalds app... $9.99 for 20-piece McNuggets and 2 large fries.

Same here, I just can’t do it….once in a blue moon I’ll get chick filet and I always instantly regret it. Just can’t stomach fast food….

One less person (usually a slight idiot, but that is on the the corp and these modern times) One less job available to those who seek honest work. I had almost a dozen jobs before the age of 18. I used to prefer Wendys. McDs is leading the way to full automation. Used to work there when food was real. Maximum order time was 1.5minutes IIRC. My memory might be wrong. Sorry. But I will not pay full restaurant prices for substandard nutrition out of a big vending machine.

I could eat fast food every day...but even though it is really inexpensive, I don't...as I can eat at home for even less.
Of course, I usually do not eat a lot at a single sitting. Even with other restaurants, my wife and I almost always have enough for another meal left over to take home.

We have the usual fast food places here...but if I go to one, it's usually Wendy's.
I still think the Dave's Classic burger is the best of all the places.

All right, I have to check local prices. A Whopper at Concord Mills, NC, just north of Charlotte) is $5.29. Quite a large range of prices!

With some decent hot sauce, I'd rather eat a dawg turd burger instead of a Whopper these daze .... I can even get a decent semi fast-food Steak & Shake burger for 5 bucks and a great local burger at many joints for just a few bucks more.
I try to avoid even the good burger joints ... I sometimes fail

The best thing since CA keeps raising the minimum wage for fast food workers is fast food restaurants raised menu prices to the point I just stopped going to fast food places entirely.

However, many will spend that kind of money on a pack of smokes, a 32 oz. Mountain Dew and a Twinkie, the Alabama breakfast of champions. But look at what you're getting! |

I am pretty sure that I could eat it every day and not get fat. When I go thorough periods where I eat a lot of fast food, I generally lose weight. I get plenty of healthy food at home (that I make myself) ...but I really don't eat much food these days. Apparently, adults really don't need to. Who knew? One could save an awful lot of money. I don't think fast food is going to hurt me a bit, but who know? I could keel over today.

I guess some of us are old.
The Habit and 5 Guys are good. The Barney Burger at Oaktree I am particular to. (I invented it) I find the taste is lacking in a lot of establishments. Maybe because I eat less red meat over the years. I still have a Birthday Post Card for a free Shakeys Bunch Of Lunch and they still honor every year since 1970. I also have one for McDonalds. I only eat at these two places once a year because its free. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Of course I can't leave out Mr. Box when he was actually just a box. Jack has done well.
