During the summer I will have 2 of my grandsons at my place for a pool and "Pa" day, just me and the boys. They beg me for McD's. Naturally I succumb and order thru Uber Eats.
The food, fee and tip come out to $100 I am in utter shock but, that's the price you pay for happy kids!

My dad and his cronies used to joke about the hundred dollar hamburger; they'd fly their lightweight airplanes from the airpark to some small-town location 50, 100, 150 miles away, get lunch at a restaurant and fly back.

Your post resonated as I passed by and stopped at a BK (for a yearly whopper)..
$9.47 with all the taxes from the Kalifornia republic. Whopper with cheese. Not cheap. |

Enid, OK is widely known amongst pilots as a place for great pie. Get there early or they will be sold out. We bought our 2004 Cessna 182T in Wichita from a flight school. During the first look at the airplane, he flew us over the Stearman field for a burger and he bought lunch. I still think of that as my quarter million dollar burger. https://www.stearmanbarandgrill.com/

Picking up some hardware at Menards this morning and the Burger King next door was smelling too good to pass up, so I got a whopper. $5.99 in the Metro area of MN.
Rusty Heaps, we need more info on where you bought yours or maybe they billed you for the whole meal?
