Dixon - too bad for him but looked rattled and he didn’t leave any room for Fittipaldi. Maybe the latter should have lifted?

No tears of Dixon. He has dodged more accidents with shear luck (sure some are skill but many times he comes out of a scene with major carnage with nothing and other cars are totaled). It was his turn to for 'lady luck' to dump on him.

Looks like our favorite race announcer may have found a home. The NASCAR boys cannot get enough of Leigh Diffey ...."The great ones know how to match the moment with their voice. They change their tone, they change the speed at which they’re calling a race." Huh??? All I ever hear from him is hysterical shouting.

He fits the NASCAR hype persona. I was never a fan of his style in Indycar or IMSA.

They obviously stole all of Andretti's mistakes. They had a horrible year.

MSR have announced they are having Logan Sargeant do a test session for them .

What are they testing, his bank account?
I read a couple of days ago that only pay rides remain for next season. It doesn't do Indycar any favors to have F1 rejects in the field, but that's the way the game is played.

Right, but I'd rather see someone climbing UP the ladder to Indycar, not slipping down the ladder. But maybe he's a good guy and it will work out. I know very little about him other than his F1 results.

I am sick of Crashcar drivers coming in, owning the last row at each race, but still getting more attention and accolades than those running in the 2nd row.

Logan is an 'F1 reject' - 2 partial seasons at the back of field, scored only a single point and than fired. Mansell, Fittipaldi, Alonso, Piquet, etc. were obviously in a different class entirely. I have no problem with top-tier names coming in. Grosjean? nearly 200 starts and 10 podiums - hardly a reject. Ericsson? Close to an F1 reject', but he at least had 97 starts. Rossi? Well, he had totally crap underfunded cars and only a few races. I think he rejected them
Who knows, maybe Indycar will suit Logan's driving style perfectly and he'll be successful.

My 2 cents: Indycar like most series has a feeder/development driver system . Anytime there is an opening at the top rung that should be the 1st place to look to fill the seat . If no one is available or not ready yet then you look elsewhere . Unfortunately it's not that simple as $$$ comes into play . Does a driver bring his own money because daddy has the bucks ? Does a driver bring with them sponsorship money ?
Is Logan Sargeant a good driver ? I think he is . Is he a great driver I would say no based on 2 years in F1 . Is a change of series what he needs to become great ? Hard to say only time will tell . Unfortunately the facts are there are good/great drivers that will never make it to the top for a variety of reasons .

^^^ That's going to be a serious contender for the win at the Indy 500. The rest of the season? Should be a consistent upper midfield car with the cash infusion and Rossi.

Only if winning means running just above the minimum speed required to not be black flagged.
