Lots of activity at tech inspection where those templates in the foreground are used to see that various body panels and other bits conform to the spec. There's even one for the side mirrors to verify that they're the correct height and that the housing and glass are the proper size & shape.

Yes, that was a nice race to listen to.
The thing that irks me is how they were allowed to cut the apex of turn 7 going up to the cork screw turn. Some guys were totally off the track on the wrong side of the rumble strips while doing it. It totally changes the approach to the last turn before the cork screw.
Why is this allowed?

We can only pray, the Olympics will keep him busy throughout the summer As far as track limits go, I thought Hinch and Bell said there basically aren't any as long as you stay on the paved surface???
