^^^ Yep..I always wondered who lit those things.

I lived on a road with a steep hill. The road commission would keep barrels of sand full for people who couldn't make it up the hill in the winter. You needed to have your own shovel.

I remember the change. The hot tip for getting the ink flowing again used to be heating the tip up with a match. When they went to plastic, that didn’t work anymore.

Do you remember rubber clams at HoJo's? Family tradition when we drove from Pittsburgh to Decatur, IL and stopped on the west side of Columbus because I 70 was not complete
