So good to see F1 on the old classic Euro tracks again... Love Imola - if not the racing, the old school look with the trees and houses... And Porsche supercup is back, if you have F1Tv, I enjoy that racing a lot. Colapijnto +.500 from Gasly, same as Doohan so far.

CrashoPinto is back to his usual tricks. Gonna be interesting to see how he does after putting such massive pressure on himself as a result. It’s tricky - I liked Doohan but he’s not exactly showed prodigy speed. Colapinto has flashes of really good speed but bins it every other race. Briatore is not allowed to be a team manager after his massive cheat - and yet he his due to Oakes being on the run, sort of… I just can’t wait till Alpine sells out so I can stop supporting them…what a cluster…

How do you suppose Carlos was feeling at the end of Q2, at the top of the time sheet and his old team , ah ,er, not.?

Did you wee the clip of Doohan in the pits with a big grin after the Colapinto crash? It is a very difficult job.

Flabio's " lifetime ban " from F1 was overturned in court . He is on Renault's payroll as an advisor . So he can't technically be the team principal for Alpine . This article explains his situation fairly well .

The problem is Ferrari will likely sack Vasseur if this continues despite him being a great team manager. They do seem to need better engineers though ! Shame… 2 wasted talents

You may be right about Vasseur . Would be sad if they do he seems like a good guy . But F1 is very results driven and right now Ferrari are not getting the results that they should . Tough business

Honest question - just what it is that Hamilton is bringing to the party for his alleged 400 million grab? T-shirts and hat sales aside, is he a great leader?
A setup wizard? A clever strategist? A steady head to turn to in the midst of chaos? Maybe the race tomorrow will be the turnround. Miracles sometimes do happen in Italy, but I feel pretty bad for Sharl.

They really need to close the pit lane under VSC. Someone else's mistake or broken car should not be your strategy to advance. Ditto for SC but close it until the field is all behind the SC and the lapped cars are unlapped.

I saw where another GT3 racer thinks Franz Hermann's Nurburgring GT3 record isn't good. Claiming the Ferrari GT3 racecar Franz drove was under weight or something. Personally, I would be surprised if he didn't break the record. He's without a doubt the fastest driver in the world right now and has done thousands of laps of the Nurburgring on a simulator.

Hmmm, maybe a nod to 2026? Max and Ham teaming up at Ferrari?
