I have f1 tv and another thing is you can do is choose their commentators or the ‘international feed’ during the race.
I have to say Hinch has been pretty good and agree JpM is also a treat to listen speak his mind. |

Practice 1 showed up in my recordings.
Bummed to see Piastri had no P1 time due to O’Ward seat time and he subsequently struggled to find a good setup in P2. Excellent support for a championship contender.

Stage is set for the race.
Given the grid order, Piastri is the only contender who has to pass anyone. That is going to be very tough. Norris has to simply not be stupid. Max will win the race.

You're probably right. Even if Norris chokes the start, there's enough friendly faces on the sharp end of the grid to keep him in the points lead.
Congrats to Hamilton. Right there with Luca Badour in the Ferrari hall of fame. Nice helmet, though. Shiny!

From what the announcers were saying, the rookie drives are scheduled at the beginning of the year. Every team has to let a rookie have the drives, and the teams schedule the assignments long before an actual race weekend. It is always unusual to see Hamilton stuff it in the wall. He went for so many race weekends with flawless drives. Not this year. And it sure looked like it was his fault. Nico Rosberg was announcing during P3. He had some wonderful insights to Norris's position, 12 point lead with a monster driver trying everything to make you finish lower down in the grid. He said at one point the team radio told him he HAD to pass Max to win the championship. He said 10 years ago Max was very dangerous and often crashed in passing situations. He made a lunge and Max gave him the room, and Nico said he was so nervous and pumped with adrenaline he right foot and leg were jumping up and down. Of course throttle control is vital important. He said he got the pass, and had to force his leg down, as his ankle was jumping. He had about 3 seconds of straight to get his leg and ankle to work as then have to. He said he was so nervous the night before he only got two hours of sleep, and he could not eat anything but some childhood soft food that I have never heard of, and it was just a few bites. He is the best announcer I have heard in F1. Bernie Collins has great insight, but she is so hard to understand with her thick accent. It will be an interesting race tomorrow.

Glen, I know the O’Ward drive was scheduled long ago, hence my use of green font. That the timing sucks for Piastri is without a doubt.
The start should be exciting for sure. I’m another fan of Nico the announcer.

Predictions now that we're down to just 3? I'm cheering for Max, but I think Lando's lead is insurmountable.

Good to see Lewis making up a bunch of places. The Ferraris were surprisingly racy today. Lando did what he had to do.
Now we wait.

At least there is no controversy about the race, and Lando can enjoy his win.
And the week of anticipation was fun, even if the race was anticlimactic.

I say we just needed Michael Massey to interpret rules around Lando's excursion around TSU

Max did all he could do this weekend. It was nice to see a clean race, and no safety cars, yellow flags and not one retirement.
