Looks almost like daylight here. I really like how the shadows show up on the snow.

No snow in the ten day forecast for the MN metro area. I wonder if this winter is going to be lean for snow just like last year?

My sister lives in Defuniak Springs, Florida. She got 5 and 1/2 inches of snow. This is the table on her patio. It looks like a big cake!!!

I would think there are kids in the south seeing snow for the first time and loving it.

Northern Florida has more snow on the ground than Northwest Ohio. Now that's funny. Betcha they don't have our -2 temp this morning! They can have it if they want it.

-1 here and the wind has picked up for a wind chill of -23

Snow is supposed to start this morning...they already have us in a 'winter storm warning' area.

I saw a short video online where a guy in Pensacola, FL stuck a ruler in the snow and measured 7".

I'm from FL, and lived a few several places there over the years (dad was in the military, so I wasn't a lifelong resident). I saw snow in Pensacola a couple of times over the years. I don't remember ever seeing snow when I lived in the Tampa area. I don't know that my relatives that now live in Vero have ever seen snow there.

I've been in Texas now for 30 years. I've seen snow here at least 3 times (2 in the last 4 years), but I think 4 or 5.

Looks nasty, stay safe, sending thoughts and prayers

If this was the UK it would be Snowmageddon headlines in the press and all the schools would be closed for a week

Here in NWNJ we've run out of positive numbers on the thermometer. However, a heatwave is anticipated for Sunday when the temp is expected to rise to 26F.
