We managed to survive our snowstorm. It was brutal!

^^^ You've got a good 3/64 of an inch of snow there.

What's that white stuff in the back ground?

Well, we had another stay at home snow day today, which I was very thankful for. The roads were deemed "impassable," and bridges were definitely not safe to be driving on for sure. There were places along I-85 that were blocked by big trucks stuck in the ice and snow also. The snow is melting now but all that water will freeze tonight and then we will be stuck until it thaws in the morning or afternoon. I enjoy the snow but I wouldn't want to have to deal with it and the cold on a daily basis. It's fun to see it every 20 years or so,

Our high temp for today was 15F. Not too bad but I'm burning pellets at an epic rate.

Snowed hard here all day and it hasn't stopped yet. Weatherman said we have had up to 12 inches so far.
All lake effect snow.

49º and clear blue skies with lots of sun. Beautiful day. Still have snow in a few shady spots.

My wife is visiting her nephew in Austin TX and reports it snowed a little and stuck briefly. City shut down. Dog refused to go outside, pee'd in the house. It sounds like a calamity.

Well if I'm being honest I go into hiding when it hits 90 F up here in the summer.

That’s how I clear off my bbq and rear deck.
It also works for clearing the snow off my Tahoe.
We’ve been getting dustings of snow over the past week. Total accumulation around 6 inches. It’s pretty cold, it was -24 celsius (11 F).
It actually started snowing around an hour ago
Last year at this time I we were in Arizona for the month of January
