Seems their are some exceptions to the 1500 hour ATP Rule:
These exceptions include:
Graduates with a bachelor’s degree in aviation can reduce their time to 1,000 hours
Graduates with an associate’s degree in aviation can reduce flight time to 1,250 hours
Military pilots can gain their commercial license with 750 flight hours

And after impact with a surface, they don't even leave engine impact points or large parts behind such as wings?

My niece is an airline pilot, and the uninformed nonsense from the peanut gallery regarding DEI hires makes my blood boil. But, it's the usual suspects, so, same old, same old.

Here's some facts from Juan Blanco, offering screen grabs of the paperwork from the FAA And Delta.
(Juan giving an obvious and well-earned swipe at "Taking Off!" and his sensational algorithm grab.)

I think this is my favorite comment from the JB video:

"As a retired corporate pilot as well as a A&P mech, I discovered a long time ago that pilots and mechanics, are guilty until proven innocent."

While I am totally picking up what you’re laying down, I think we are discussing a totally different topic.

A guy I know is an F22 pilot, with one year to go to get in his 20. He's planning a second career as a commercial pilot, flying out of the west coast to Asia, so he's getting the appropriate training and licenses to do that. He was paired with a chick that had fingernails so long that she was using a a pencil to push the buttons. At least the few she knew, he was constantly having to tell her which buttons did what. As you might expect, he reported this up the chain...

Some people are just not suited to becoming a pilot. If you won't trim your fingernails so that you can work the buttons, you ain't serious abut that career. Choices...

That sounds like fun times in the sim.

I don't really care what sex the low hour f/o was. Endeavor should act like a real airline and make approaches like that PIC only, as many airlines do (crosswind component within x knots of design max etc). I don't really blame her, I blame the PIC.

Those restrictions at REAL airlines only apply to low time pilots. (less than 100 hours in type). The CPT does have discretion to take the controls in any situation he deems necessary to but this was just basic daily operations in winter time ops. I can say that I have seen many pilots that just aren't that good at their job. Females are either really good or really bad. Males tend to have more middle ground. Most females just didn't grow up with the mechanical sense that males have in their blood if that makes sense. Like my daughter doesn't understand that taking a corner too sharp will scrap the wheels on the curb while guys seem to get that without telling them. I'm not sure if that example is a good one but if everything goes as scripted, the weaker pilots are fine, but if something happens outside of the box of training then they fall apart quickly.

As Rattlsnak mentioned, those limits apply to First Officers with less than 100 hours in the seat in the type of plane they're flying. At American, the crosswind component limit is 15 knots for a newbie FO in type. As also mentioned, the PIC always has the discretion to say "I'll take this leg" no matter the experience level, as in some cases a very experienced FO might not give the Captain a warm fuzzy with regard to his flying skills in challenging conditions, for whatever reason.

Delta making a $30k "don't sue us" offer. Apparently it's not working.

For $100 Pilot Steve should (at a minimum) sit in the correct seat.

The Delta offer was not phrased that way. Your interpretation may be correct, but is projection.

Plenty of female pilot bashing here, and way more across the web. Do a little research into the MALE captain of the flight, let me know what you come up with..... See what you can find.

Trust me, I am 100% anti DEI practices. But, I think on this one we may need to understand what went on and who (and their history) ultimately is in charge of the flight safety on this aircraft (the captain).

Cheers

Yes, exactly, how many hours and how many recent/current hours....
