Oh come on, really? I, for one, am really getting into your contributions here. I'm learning something, which I'm always eager to do. Don't be so hard on yourself. Everything you have added is relevant to the topic. Quite interesting and informative to boot. You have my "permission" (like that means anything) to keep going. Point the index finger of your front hand as you hold the foreend under the gun down the barrel. I thought everyone pretty much did that. It’s how I taught the kids.
Also the other thing that if it was mentioned I missed is - think of it like golf or tennis - you keep swinging after you hit the ball. Stopping the gun is a real easy way to miss. Based on a relatively small sample size - [good] target shooters struggle with this more than [adequate] tennis players. Google Churchill method for a better description. |
