I sprinted from my office on TUES, because everyone was hacking and blowing their noses. I walked in, and went ....NOPE.

Been on vacay since 12/20, go back to work (from home mostly) on 1/5. There are some benefits to being underpaid IT worker in the .edu world

Feeling good enough today and the weather is nice enough that I shall likely go fishing tomorrow, though probably leave the canoe at home to make things easier....

I tend to err on the side of caution when it comes to being sick.

I get tons of rest. tons. I think my body, uses the energy I am saving by not moving (sleep) to kicksomeass with the white blood cells. it cant do both.

last time I was sick, my wife told me, "you just slept 20 hours!!". my first 1-day flu.
