Congratulations to Porsche Penske # 7 for the overall win . The Whelen Cadillac threw the kitchen sink at the Porsche but fell short . On to Sebring

Never bet against Penske...

Between the two Penske cars they lead 3/4 of the race laps ! Very dominant run . Now they will get a BOP adjustment and not be competitive

I have NEVER seen so many people at the Rolex! It was crazy just trying to walk around.
You couldn't move in the garage area and the fan Zone. There were lines to get in to everywhere. Only good thing is I now have a reserved camping site inside the track. No more leaving the house at 2:00 in the morning to get in line to get a spot.

Another R24 trip over, went by way too fast. Great event, and I was able to get some sleep during the 6.5 hour extended fog period. Growing up in NE FL it was obvious this was going to hang around awhile after forming around midnight. I do want to know how pit stop strategies changed during the long overnight caution period. Track position could be gained with strategy, always important no matter how long the race is. Were driver stints extended and were tire changes skipped?

I still can't believe Ellis got away with just a warning for that blocking move on the banking. On the other hand, I do tend to be on the side of letting them fight it out. But 175mph on the banking is a different animal than blocking at, say, 75mph on a flat straight.
“He had a run on me that I tried to break by putting the side draft on him. To be fair, I didn’t realize he was already that close to the wall. So, that one is on me—especially at that speed, where the consequences can be massive,” Ellis noted.
