One thing, too, worth noticing, is that there is no vertical seam at the leading edge of the front fender (trailing edge at the rear fender), even though it was much cheaper to cast a cap out of pot metal and bolt it on rather than finish the fender for a smooth look.

This was a car that followed custom car trends of the time. Very hard to improve.
