I finally used my new 36" Blackstone Griddle
During the sales of last year, I purchased a Blackstone 36" griddle with 4 burners. I did a lot of research regarding the various models, accessories, and techniques. A couple of weeks ago, I seasoned it with avocado oil as recommended. I also purchased the accessories for it along with a infrared laser temperature gun.
Last night I finally was able to use it to cook marinated chicken and vegetables. This griddle is awesome! Please post some of your favorite recipes and experiences for a beginner such as myself. Rock on, David

Happy New Year David!
I like my Blackstone, I've even used it for cooking steaks with some beef tallow. Stir fry works great and so does sausage and peppers. I haven't tried this yet but know people who have and they rave about it. Happy grilling!

We bought the smaller 22" model to take with us in the RV for camping. We've used it a couple of times - the first few while still home. I will say - that griddle top stays HOT for a LONG TIME after use. No specific recipes to share though.
It is important to get the thing as level as possible. We tried some scrambled eggs on our last camping trip and a good portion of the mix drained right to the back grease port before we were able to stop it.

Fantastic griddle, love ours. Lamb lollipops marinated overnight with EVOO, garlic, rosemary and thyme. They are luscious.

Fried rice is the big griddle hit in our house but my favorite is breakfast. Entire package of bacon (four of us plus a bit of a treat for the dogs), eggs, sausage...tons of fun! Shredded has browns proving more of a challenge.
Thick cut filet is also perfect for a griddle. Have made some great stuff on our single burner blackstone at football games. It is such a great tool for portable outdoor cooking. When it comes to the big multi burner surfaces I would encourage those who have yet to buy a griddle to strongly consider the Weber griddle insert made for their gas grills. I've had a couple blackstones (still have a single burner portable) and the Weber insert is a much better finished surface.

i want one!! but i think i would have more fun with a flat griddle i can set over a fire.
i've been watching a mexican family youtube channel where i barely understand a single word..but they built a table where they set a fire on. and they set various pots, griddles and Discadas to cook meals. i want to build one on my brothers hunting property.
