Watched the men's skating short program . Some very talented athletes . There's a kid on the US team nicknamed quadzilla
, man can that guy launch into the air . I think his first name is Ilya . He is in first place after the short program .Supposedly in the long program he will attempt seven quad jumps !!! Holy smokes I hope he can pull it off . Long program is on Friday . My wife and I really enjoyed today's events . Looking forward to bobsled and hockey . Go USA

Not a fan of the track ski jump setup. too sterile and perfect. it's kinda tough to tell one jump from another.

The passing in those speed skating events is wild. It's like a NASCAR race! I'd love to see real time input pressures on the luge runs just to have some insight into the slider's thinking.
The downhill ski runs sound really icy to me. Is that the case?

I just watched the ice dancing.
I think they got robbed. I could spot the flaws in the last skaters skate, and if I could see it without replay how could they not win with no flaws in their skate?
