Winter Olympics
 

My wife and I are enjoying the Olympics so far . Have watched luge/downhill skiing and slope skiing . I think the coverage has been good and will watch until the games are over . Go USA !!! :D

I'm watching and playing with my cameras at the same time.
That drone chasing the luge shot is something else.

Opening ceremonies looked great on my new TV. Glad Santa was able to treat me to it.

Saturday Night Live did a funny, yes funny skit about the Olympics and it features the luge as the comedic bit.

That luge drone is amazing. Fast but the sleds are faster and the stationary cameras take over after the start. The drone has to be AI controlled, nobody's that good with a joy stick

I noticed the drone only followed the sled thru the first two turns then they switched to the stationary cameras.

Are you watching Peacock? The streaming coverage is maddening. They run the ad repeatedly. I thought I was tired of seeing Taylor Swift.
I'm mostly watching Gold Zone which is like NFL's Red Zone.

Enjoying the games so far. Great opening ceremony. Not impressed with the network at all.

Drone coverage is cool but I think it'd be nice if they could tune the whine out of the sound. No doubt that tech will show up sooner or later.

Wow what a great Olympic story . Francesca Lolabridgida on her 35th birthday sets an Olympic record and wins the gold in 3000m speed skating for Italy . Netherlands was shut out for a podium finish . Impressive

My brother is on the international IOC committee, for luge. He was there for the opening ceremony and is now in Cortina, watching the luge events.

I’ve been outside working on the car all day and I haven’t seen anything yet.

The drone on the Stelvio downhill is noisy but awesome.You almost ALMOST get a feel for those sections.

Van Ollman grabbed air for 170 feet and actually gained speed. How they can hold the ski's edge in a turn at 70 +mph is amazing.

Women’s downhill on the NBC schedule in the morning (Feb 8). Curling in the afternoon, then the superbowl. Good chance I won’t get that light put up for Vicki today.

After reading some of the anti-American comments from punks parading as USA athletes,
I'm done with the whole thing and will contact my congressional reps to voice my opposition to
funding future Olympic teams.
Evidently they are too young and dumb to learn from the NFL's mistakes.

Anybody watch the cross country ski event? Is it correct the one type of ski grips in one direction? Is that harder than the kick off style of moving on flat land or hills?
