Ring that bell!
My brother just sent me a picture of himself ringing the bell at the cancer treatment center where he's been undergoing rad treatment for prostate cancer.
YES! Now a couple more weeks on a chemo drug that causes hot flashes and he can start to get back to 'normal' such as it is going to be for him.

Funny. I went through the 35 days (5 days a week; 7 weeks) of the low dose beam radiation after the nightmarish high dose double double sessions. There was a pause after the machine quit for the last session which was not the usual. In come the techs and support with everything but the cake.
I'm like I'm just going home, sorry to not want to play games. I think they were a bit deflated. So what? It was no big deal, not traveling a half hour each way was the big deal. Nice place — hope to never be back.

Congrats!
I did not know about the bell thing until recently visiting a neighbor at a medical rehab facility. I misunderstood the plaque next to it and there was an awkward moment.

Thanks guys.
I appreciate the sentiments and will pass the well wishes along to him. He's already working on another engine build this morning.
