Sorry I missed this. My condolences to Seahawk's family and friends.

He was a great man. I told my daughter April last night and she was very sad.

RIP Mr. Seahawk.

I had hoped for a better outcome when I first read this thread; am saddened once again by this news. We have all dealt with death, I'm sure...it seems strange to me that this man who I never physically met is making me feel more sorrow than most others I've known and have passed. Speaks to his character and to the impact he had on us, I think.

To his family, I hope you all carry on the legacy this great man started and try to make as significant of an impact on those around you that he did. I also hope you find solace and peace and can remember the joys of his life more than the sorrow of his loss.

To Paul...I hope there is a "better place" after this life. If there is, I know you're there. You will be missed but more importantly, you will be remembered.

Same here. I am bothered by it every day. I don't like coming here anymore because it saddens me profoundly. I have lost a lot people the last 5 years...on the day Paul passed I was at a funeral for someone I have known my entire life. My uncle died a month earlier. I lost 2 friends to sepsis 3 years ago.....too many people. Paul's loss is just as profound, maybe more. I regret that I did not have an opportunity to meet the man in person but do cherish the times he reached out to me personally to offer a compliment or an appreciation for something.....which he did not have to do. No disrespect to any of our dads, but he always seemed like the type of dad we all wish we had or wish we could have been.

I'm saddened to hear of his passing. He was a man of true character.
