May solace be.
B-52 dwn , but the pic just shows a black spot? A flat black burned spot with trks driving through it Nothing left? Not a thing? I find this a bit weird.

I golf with a retired AF general. Asked him about this today and he said that 52 was doing some testing and had a couple of contractors on board. His take is that (depending on what's being tested) flight testing is a lot more risky than most people realize and it'll be a couple of months before any definitive cause will be identified.
