I quit FB because an EX started stalking me. yikes.

now I have a partial fake name, and I camouflaged my face in my picture with about 3 decades of aging. hahahaha...

I did use my new account to meet new kayak fishermen and we now fish together for safety and the refreshed camaraderie. so there is a good side of all of it.

^^^ I don't know how a fake name helps? When I signed up, it was only for marketplace and I used a fake name. I still got bombarded with friend requests from everyone I know within hours? Is there a way to go completely incognito? I guess maybe you need to setup a new eMail that isn't connected to anything else? And a 'fake' Google phone number or something?

With my fake name, I’ve never had somebody I know ask to friend me. I keep all my settings private.
