Tony
Have been watching No Reservations recently, what a great guy Anthony Bourdain was, I miss him.
Saw Tony last night with a lot of mixed feelings and wonder if more, later biopics will be done of his life. Tony was well done. After googling, it was a reasonable portrayal of his early life but very different than I though it would be. Dominic Sessa was excellent as he was in The Holdovers, honestly he plays this character too well. Antonio Banderas was perfect for his role. It's an A24 movie through and through. I hope there will be more films made of his life.

he was cool. I like how he had that awkward geekiness sometimes. like he felt out of place, up against some pro in the industry.
he was a great inspiration to grab a passport and go somewhere.

Ripert makes a cameo in the movie.
Chef Eric Ripert called his close friend Anthony Bourdain an "exceptional human being, so inspiring & generous" and "one of the great storytellers of our time" after Bourdain's death in 2018. Over the years, Ripert has frequently described Bourdain as deeply loyal, humble, incredibly curious about other cultures, and possessing a wonderful, dry sense of humor.
