Nothing on the botched execution??
First all female execution team? Surely they won't screw it up. I'd imagine there is a team of lawyers drooling over this.

Does the procedure demand the injection be giving into a vein in the crook of the arm?
Sometimes I feel like a pin cushion when doing bloodwork. I tell them to draw from the back of my hand because the veins are very visible. Matter of fact, I had it done this morning, and I was out in a minute. Can they not do that? Yes, lawyers will be all over this. |

Imagine the wording in her sentence was "sentenced to lethal injection". She has now served her sentence and is free to go.
What she did back in '95 was pure dirtbag sh ! t. F her.

Why did it take 31 years to carry out her sentence?
I thought death row was normally around 10 years?

Word on the street is that she finally died after the all female ambulance crew rushing her to the hospital crashed on the highway.

Yes, several times. Not only is execution barbaric but it's expensive. Copied off the internet:
Seeking, securing, and executing a death sentence generally costs taxpayers $1.5 million to $5 million per case. Dozens of state and federal studies consistently show that capital punishment is 2.5 to 5 times more expensive than sentencing a person to life imprisonment without parole. On a national level, a death penalty case averages $1 million to $2 million more than a non-capital murder case. The financial burden falls squarely on taxpayers, hitting local county budgets the hardest. |

guillotine is supposed to be the most reliable and painless way to execute someone. 17,000 French people would agree. If they could...

Maybe it's just a movie memory...but I got the impression that if an execution was botched in the old west, the criminal went free?
Yeah, a very WTF happening...no matter how one feels about the death penalty.

Rank amateurs succeed in this every day. Why not just use what they use? Why the need to formulate, or compound some overly complex concoction that has the potential to fail? A big dose of fentanyl or heroin would be both cheap and effective, and the subject would not suffer in the least.

According to wikipedia:
Quote:
I know at one point, there were companies refusing to sell the primary chemical to prisons. I feel like I've heard/read that it's normally a cocktail of 2 or 3 chemicals. I think one is for sleep, one is for pain and one is to stop the heart or something like that. Hell, seems like a heroine overdose would do the trick. Based on what I read about her, she definitely deserves what's coming to her.
