Name This Tool...
This might be easy to some...I have never seen it before yesterday.
I saw it at Menards and bought two because of the low price. Pic is of both... one upright and one from the bottom.

A knife works just as well with less clutter in the junk drawer.

^^^ Shaun
Yes....but I have a pic of the aftermath from this morning which might change your mind. ![]() I'll post it if nobody else gets it. A hint...I goofed on the pic above. The yellow parts should be switched from top to bottom.

One last hint.....It came from Menards doesn't mean much.
They have aisles of weird and useless gadgets...and sometimes smart things. I paid $4 for 2 of these.

Egg Topper
Jumbo's work best....opens a hole that is perfect size for a spoon. Spoon it onto toast....Yumm. I use a 'Dash' egg poacher or soft boiled eggs...it'll do up to 7 at one time.

The problem I have is that the egg is very hot and hard to control when using a knife. I have a sliding weight topper...but it just cracks it and then it comes off in pieces. .

![]() I have one of those also...but it has a sliding weight on it to crack it. When I use it...it just cracks the top and then it comes off in pieces. This 'Topper' cuts it and it comes off as a lid. I love soft boiled eggs .
