That is one sweet ski!
the Connelly has been my favorite, that's for sure although the HO Comp that I own is rated higher for competition skiing. I've bought all my skis with suicide boots, but I keep them off until season end when we really start to cut; the double boot setup takes far too much energy from this 'ol guy during start ups. I've got an intermediate 'fat boy' slalom too, makes the season start less painfull. Ha! I usually jump start in ankle deep water from the beach, and single foot out of the lake; saves a ton of energy. Great sport, I've been doing it since I was 8 yo (slalom), but they call it the old mans sport now because all the young guys are wake boarding now. Enjoy that ski buddy. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1237576559.jpg |
